Citizens for Pound Reform's immediate goals are to reduce the number of animals entering the pound (including via widespread spay/neuter), increase the number of animals adopted out of the pound, and assure humane treatment of those animals who do arrive at the pound.

You're probably as heartened as we are that our community has so vocally demanded changes at the pound. But this issue has come up several times in the past 10 or 15 years without meaningful, lasting improvements being made. To make changes "stick," we have to get (and stay!) organized!
