Community Input on Proposed Chapter 5 Animal Code Revision

The public has four formal opportunities to comment on the proposed revision of San Antonio's animal laws:

• August 1: input meeting for animal welfare organizations ("stakeholders")
• August 8: public comment period of the regular meeting of the ACS Advisory Board
• August 22: input meeting for general community
• September 12: public comment period of the regular meeting of the ACS Advisory Board

All meetings will begin at 6:30 pm. Presentation of the proposed revision and public comment will begin at 6:30 at the input meetings on August 1 and August 22. The public comment period typically takes place at the end of the ACS Advisory Board regular meeting, generally between 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

All meetings will be held at the City of San Antonio training facility at 131 Paso - a map is here. The facility is disabled-accessible, accessible by VIABus, and has plenty of free parking.
