Along with many other volunteers, advocates, and animal welfare organizations, Citizens for Pound Reform is working to change San Antonio from the city that killed the most animals per capita in 2004 to a No Kill city by 2012.
As part of San Antonio's community-wide Strategic Plan to achieve No Kill by 2012, City Council is considering a revision of the city's municipal code relating to animals. YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED!

Lost a pet? Looking for a pet to adopt? Visit the City of San Antonio's Animal Care Services PetHarbor.com site to post about your lost pet, look for your lost pet, and see the many animals who need a good home. (PLEASE also go to the facility at 210 Tuleta next to the zoo - not all animals are on this website, and unclaimed animals are euthanized within two days.)
Please help the dogs at the city pound to be comfortable during their stay there. They have chosen Kuranda dog beds for the kennel facilities because they are so good for the dogs. They still don't have enough for all of the kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. The bed(s) will be shipped straight to the adoption kennels at the city pound. You don't have to worry about delivering them yourself. The dogs will thank you !!!
